What is FitFast?
FitFast is a personalized intermittent fasting plan tailored to your needs based on a quiz you fill out when signing up.
Step 1: Download the App
After you’ve completed your payment for the plan, download the FitFast app from the App Store or Google Play. Once installed, log in using the credentials you set up. If you’re having trouble logging in, refer to this article: I am unable to login into the FitFast app.
Step 2: Explore Your Fasting Plan
After logging in, you will see the fasting plan you’ve been assigned. For example, if you receive the 16:8 plan, it means you will fast for 16 hours and have an 8-hour eating window.
Step 3: Check Your Personal Recommendations
Your FitFast plan comes with personalized recommendations for:
- Calories
- Water intake
- Activity levels
These recommendations are based on the answers you provided in the quiz. You can always adjust these settings in the app under "Profile".
Step 4: Meet Your Personal Coach
You have access to a personal coach who understands your goals and needs. The coach is available 24/7 to answer any questions or offer advice on your fasting journey.
Step 5: FitFast Flexibility
FitFast is a flexible plan. You can eat whatever you like as long as it fits within your calorie limits and eating window. If you need inspiration, browse through our collection of over 1,000 high-quality weight-loss recipes, which can be personalized based on your dietary needs.
Example of the 16:8 Plan
- Fasting Duration: 16 hours
- Eating Window: 8 hours
For example, if your last meal is at 8:00 PM, you will fast for 16 hours and break your fast at 12:00 PM the next day. During your eating window (12:00 PM – 8:00 PM), you can eat anything that fits within your calorie and macro guidelines.
To set your fasting start time, follow these steps:
- Tap the pencil icon under the clock to set your fasting start time.
- You can add notifications by clicking the bell icon to remind you when to start fasting.
- When it’s time to start fasting, click the Start Fasting button, and the FitFast timer will begin.
- You cannot eat until the fasting bar is 100% complete and the timer reaches the end time.
- If you want to fast longer, you can continue past the set time. When fasting is complete, tap Stop Fasting and save your fast.
Once your fasting period is over, you have 8 hours to consume your meals (for the 16:8 plan). The app will notify you when it’s time for your next fasting session. Repeat this cycle daily.
Step 6: Track Your Progress
Log your:
- Water intake
- Food intake
- Activity
Additionally, weigh yourself each morning after using the bathroom and log your weight in the app
Step 7: Consistent Fasting and Logging for Success
Consistent fasting and logging are key to tracking your progress and seeing results. By sticking to your fasting schedule and logging your meals, water, and activity, you’ll be able to track your improvements and see visible results within 2-4 weeks.
